In 2021, Bobby and Marie purchased the Falls of Rough Motel. The building had been stripped by thieves and the business was haunted by a bad reputation. The community itself had been greatly affected by the pandemic and was suffering hardship from the lockdowns. Bobby and Marie wanted to turn this place from a liability and a burden to an asset and a refuge for the community.

The repair and remodel was done by family and friends, giving them jobs and a way to recover from the economic loss sustained by the lockdowns. And Falls of Rough Motel continues to be family owned and operated. Bobby and Marie wanted to make a place that was affordable, personable, and clean.
